うちには今、4歳、10歳、12歳のこどもがいるのでずっと常備している薬です。
どこにでも売ってる薬なのでSAFEWAYなどのグロッサリーストアはもちろん、CVSなどのドラッグストアなどで買っていましたが、コストコにも売っていました。
コストコでは120ml入りが3個セットになって売られていました。
対象年齢は2歳〜11歳とかかれています。
箱に書かれてある体重と年齢と投与量の表を日本語にしてみました。
上の表がもとのもとの英語でかかれてあるもので、下の表が私が作り直した日本語にしたものです。
これを見ると、うちの12歳のこどもは体重がまだ43.1kgを超えていないので12歳でもまだこの薬は飲んでもいいのかな？と思っています。必ずしも年齢と体重は一致しないので。でもその辺は医師の指示に従ってください。
この表は下にもあって重複してしまうんですが、ここから下は箱にかかれてあることをすべて訳してみました。
たいくつなので、とばしてもらってかまいません。
個人的に何が書いてあるのか気になって、やってみました。日本語は赤字で書きました。

Warning

Stomach bleeding warning: This product contains an NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding. The chance is higher if your child:

■takes other drugs containing prescription or nonprescription NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others)
■takes more or for a longer time than directed

■child has high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, kidney disease, or had a stroke

Stop use and ask a doctor if
■child experiences any of the following signs of stomach bleeding:
■feel faint ■vomits blood
■has bloody or black stools
■has stomach pain that does not get better
■child has symptoms of heart problems or stroke:
■chest pain ■trouble breathing
■weakness in one part of side of body
■slurred speech
■leg swelling
■the child does not get any relief within first day (24 hours) of treatment
■fever or pain gets worse or lasts more than 3 days
■any new symptoms appear
以下の場合は使用を中止し、医師に相談すること。

以上が箱に書かれてある内容でした。
今まで気づかず使用していましたが、使う前によく振って使うというのは知りませんでした。
これからは振ってから使おうと思いました。
それから、この薬はうちでは主に熱が出たときに飲ませていたんですが、熱以外にも頭が痛いとき、歯が痛いときにも使えるというのがわかりました。
あとは、食事と一緒に飲んでもいいし、牛乳と一緒に飲んでもいいということが新たにわかったことです。
これはメーカーは違う薬なんですが、
これもほぼ同じものです。
